They give us inspiration and encouragement in our struggle to overcome sins and grow in holiness. The saints were also sinners just like us. But they firmly resolved to turn away from sin and faithfully follow the Lord. If they were able to do it, we also can, by the grace of God.<\/p>\r\n

ALL SOULS\u2019 DAY (NOV 2) \u2013 While it is not a Holy Day of Obligation, it is always a good idea to come to Mass and offer the perfect prayer for our deceased loved ones.\u00a0 There will be Mass at St. Lucy at 8:30 am and another at St. Francis Xavier at 6:00 pm for those who must work.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

MASS INTENTIONS – A book is on the back table to request Mass Intentions.\u00a0 Please PRINT the requested information and then place your $10 donation (based on the Mass intention) in an envelope marked “Mass Intention” in the collection basket.\u00a0 We will publish the intentions of the Mass in the bulletin, and Father Charles will mention the intention in the Mass.\u00a0 A Mass intention can be for anything good<\/p>\r\n

ONGOING MINISTRY \u2013 Please participate as you are able\u2026Mercy Cross Center is requesting the following donations: Backpacks, men\u2019s clothing and shoes, tents, sleeping bags, sheets and blankets, zippered pouches, new underwear for men and women, socks, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, books, puzzles, playing cards, colors, and coloring books. There is a box in the back of the church for your donations if you would like to bring them here. You can also bring them to the center yourself if you would like.\u00a0The center is located at 390 Crusaders Drive in Biloxi.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>They are not open every day.\u00a0 Their regular hours are Mon \u2013 Thu from noon until 4 pm, and they close early on Fridays.\u00a0 You can call 228-374-9679 for more information.<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n
